Dr. Goodall will give a keynote lecture on Tuesday, October 6, at the University of Southern California in Los Angeles.  Drawing upon nearly fifty years of first-hand experience with the chimpanzees of Gombe, Tanzania, Dr. Goodall will provide insight into the importance of modern day conservation and explain how the Jane Goodall Institute is employing innovative techniques to save chimpanzees and work with local communities in Africa. She will also explain how her Roots & Shoots international youth service program is bringing people of all ages into conservation work and proving that every individual has the power to make a difference everyday.

Finally, Dr. Goodall will share success stories from her recently published book, Hope for Animals and Their World: How Endangered Species are Being Rescued from the Brink.

This is a free, non-ticketed event and seats will be available on a first-come, first-serve basis.  Dr. Goodall’s books as well as Jane Goodall Institute merchandise will be available for purchase, with proceeds benefiting the Jane Goodall Institute.
