Lighting a candle for the road ahead
“Who amongst us has not been inspired by the work of Jane Goodall, who quite literally changed the definition of man? I believe that her work has saved the habitat of chimps in Africa. Her life is a testament to the impact one person with vision and determination can have in this world.
I have included JGI in my will and estate plan because the job of conservation and education isn’t complete, and her legacy must continue after we all have passed on. Eleanor Roosevelt once said, “It is better to light a candle, than curse the darkness.” My fondest wish is that my bequest to JGI serve as such a candle in the road ahead.”
