Scott Atkinson Appointed to Jane Goodall Institute USA Board of Directors

The Jane Goodall Institute (JGI) USA is delighted to announce that Scott Atkinson has been appointed to the JGI USA Board of Directors, as of October 2022. Scott is Partner and Co-Head of Heidrick & Struggles’ Global Sustainability Practice, where he places Chief Executives, Board of Directors, Investment Professionals, Chief Sustainability Officers, ESG leaders and senior executives with clients who focus on solving critical global challenges.

“Scott brings strong leadership skills and a unique perspective to our Board,” said JGI USA Board of Directors Chair Paul Baribault. “His experience with clients spanning the corporate and nonprofit sectors has given him an extremely well-informed understanding of cross-cutting issues including sustainability and possible areas of collaboration.”

Scott was named one of Wall Street’s Top Sustainability Recruiters by Business Insider in 2022. He is frequently quoted in leading news and business publications, including the Wall Street Journal, Financial Times, and Thomson Reuters, and is also a regular guest speaker on industry panels and at major universities.
