Where We Work

JGI USA works across chimpanzee ranges in Africa, providing program support in the Democratic Republic of the Congo, Republic of the Congo, Uganda, and Tanzania. We also collaborate with partners on the ground in Burundi, Cameroon, Gabon, Guinea, Liberia, Senegal, and parts of Mali. JGI's global youth action program, Roots & Shoots, supports initiatives in the United States and is part of a movement in more than 75 countries worldwide.
