Our Community of Hope Would be Nothing Without You…

Dr. Jane Goodall shares this special, personal message with you, our JGI family – our board, staff, supporters, volunteers and Roots & Shoots members – during this very difficult time. Only a few short weeks ago, we could not imagine that anything like this could happen as it has. It has been devastating. But we are in the business of hope. It is what moves us and compels us to keep going. It always has – in the face of so many other challenges, we are eternally hopeful. Why? Because Jane’s story, vision, and her work demonstrate what is possible when even one determined person never gives up hope. It can transform our world for the better.

As we face uncharted territory together, we do it as a global community fueled by the power of hope. We are adaptive. We are resilient. We are compassionate. And every single one of you makes this global community complete – without you it would not be.
