Youth Leadership Trainings

Roots & Shoots and the Disney Conservation Fund share a belief that young people can be environmental leaders today. Together, we have hosted a number of youth leadership trainings including Jane Goodall’s Global Youth Summit in 2008 which gathered 100 young environmental leaders from 23 different nations for a week of workshops and activities. In 2006 and 2015, the Jane Goodall Institute and Disney also co-hosted summits for the Roots & Shoots U.S. Roots & Shoots Youth Council USA.
