Roots & Shoots Youth Council USA got the chance to learn more about Esri, the storymap makers, during a training in Redlands, CA.

As technology advances more and more each day, it becomes even more vital that we use that power to create change in the world. Roots & Shoots U.S. Roots & Shoots Youth Council USA Member, Yanni Pappas, talks about mapping and Esri, and the importance they hold in fulfilling the Roots & Shoots mission. He shares what he learned after spending the day at the Esri headquarters in Redlands, California and also his personal experience with community mapping using GIS (Geographic Information Systems).
